Motto Yoga Classes Offered

Experience a wide variety of unique, transformative fitness classes. Build power, strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility with our highly-skilled team of instructors.

Warrior Flow
Beginner to advanced. Class is 60 minutes. must be 16 years or older. 
Recharge with this vinyasa flow inspired sequence that will tone your body, develop flexibility and open yourself up to all the possibilities that lie within you. While this sequence may vary by class, it will emphasize the importance of connecting breath with movement beginning with foundational sun salutations. Additionally, this class may offer more challenging postures including standing balance, arm balancing and inversions. Modifications and variations offered for all poses so that the intensity and challenge accommodates the student. Be prepared to have fun, sweat, tone and break through both physical and mental limitations.

Class is NOT heated. Room will be WARM from previous classes. We are primarily a hot yoga studio. Must be 16 years or older to attend. 

This quiet, grounding practice targets the connective tissues of the body, the fascia, the ligaments, and the tendons with the use of props. Postures are held for 3 – 5 minutes but may be held longer for the muscular system to completely relax, providing access to the deeper layers of the body. Yin concentrates on the connective tissues of the body, providing gentle pressure and therapeutic stress to ligaments and tendons, encouraging regeneration on a cellular level.

We begin class with a breathing exercise to help bring awareness and prepare us for deep breathing throughout the class. We will work on opening up the body with the use of props, longer holds that allow us to work deeply into the connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This class is suitable to all levels of students. We will end the class with a brief guided meditation. This class is designed to help you emerge feeling refreshed and ready to take on the challenges life brings.  This is a wonderful compliment to yang pursuits.

Journey: 60
Beginner to advanced. We are a HOT YOGA Studio! 16 years or older. 

This all-levels hot yoga class is accessible to everyone, beginners to experienced students alike. Set to music in a room heated up to 102 degrees and at 40 percent humidity. This set-sequence class uses functional commands to direct students in and out of postures, blending the elements of true Hatha yoga and Ashtanga-inspired vinyasa power flow. You will work the entire body, toning your muscles, promoting a healthy weight, and reducing stress. This class is a journey you can take daily to improve yourself physically and mentally.

Yoga Tone
Beginner to advanced. Class is 60 minutes. Must be 16 years or older to attend 
 
Our Tone class is a high intensity, interval training that combines yoga and weight training.  Tone classes are heated to 95 degrees with 40% humidity.  Our set sequence class focuses on core, shoulders and hip strength by using weights, bands and your own body weight to challenge your strength and endurance!  You will be led through a vigorous warm up to get your heart rate going, muscles warmed and ready for the fat burning, lean muscle creating intense flows.  You will then cool down and stretch out to end your total body workout!  Be prepared to have fun, burn fat, listen to some bumping music all while sweating your booty off!!

I have been searching for a hot yoga studio since I moved here from NM last year. When a friend referred me to Motto, I quickly transitioned from the regular yoga studio I had found in Gilbert to Motto. I love being able to sweat out all the toxins all the while using the heat to really stretch out my body. And Motto is a lovely studio! It is so modern, so clean! I love it there and am so glad to have found it!

I have been coming to this studio since the day it opened its doors. Ever since the Doane’s took ownership, I have seen this space become everything it was meant to be: non-judgmental, inviting, safe, loving, caring, peaceful. The instructors are incredible, and have really helped create a place of letting go. I love how frequently the sequences change, and have been in awe at how challenging they’ve become. Although sometimes I get in my head and make myself frustrated for not knowing “what’s coming next” I end my practice with gratitude for the challenge and guidance the instructors provide. Kylee is my favorite, and I’m loving how Kelli and Jenn are continuing their education to become the instructors they want to be. It also says a lot to see previous instructors return to teach at Motto. Tanya, Dave, and Taryn-well done. Love you guys, and love this space at Motto Yoga.

I realized after going to other studios that this is the studio I absolutely love going to. The love the staff puts into this studio is poured into every corner. It cozy, clean, and organized. The staff is welcoming, super friendly, and absolutely loving. When I step inside I immediately feel relax and calm. This studio just has such a great aura to it, and when I leave I carry this positive energy with me all day. Such a happy place to come and escape to Vanessa is one of the instructors I had the pleasure of meeting a year ago, such a kind and humble human being. She is also a fantastic instructor! I can close my eyes and follow her cues.
